About Valley Mission Equipping Cohort (Santa Clarita)
The Valley Mission Cohort starts meeting Jan 11, 2026.
This is a mission cohort for any follower of Christ in the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita area, and surroundings seeking to grow in their intentional outreach and love of their neighbors.
In January and throughout 2026, the cohort will be led through the Coastal Equipping Series by experienced missionaries and church planters.
The Coastal Equipping Series is the starting point for every leader partnered with Coastal Mission Society. Rooted in Scripture and the confessions, this pathway forms believers to live out their baptismal identity and join Christ’s mission in practical ways in everyday life.

CMS Primer – Introduces the biblical vision behind Coastal Mission Society and how God calls and sends His people through the Church.

Module 1: Vocation – Equips believers to live as Christ’s witnesses where they already live, labor, learn, and laugh—seeing every relationship as a context for God’s redeeming work.
- Module 2: Engage – Trains participants to see people as Jesus does, to listen well, cross boundaries, and join God’s work through meaningful relationships.
Together, these early stages lay the foundation for a lifetime of faithful witness, forming leaders who bring the gospel to every community throughout the valleys North of Los Angeles.
